Educational Qualification:–
Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Sports Qualification:–
Only those sportspersons who have participated in or won medals at the levels of competition specified in Para 4(b) of this advertisement during the last two years from the closing date of the advertisement shall be eligible.
Individual Events (International / National):–
- Sportspersons who have participated in or won medal(s) in any international sports event recognized by the International Olympic Association while representing the Indian team during the last two years from the closing date of the advertisement are eligible.
- Additionally, candidates who have won medal(s) in National Games, National Championships, or National Open Championships recognized by the Indian Olympic Association or the concerned Sports Federation, including Junior National Level Championships, held between 15.01.2024 and 15.01.2026, shall also be eligible.
Team Events (International / National):–
- In team events, sportspersons who have won any medal in National Games, National Championships (Junior or Senior), or any recognized sports meet conducted by the respective Federation/Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports or the Indian Olympic Association during the period from 15.01.2024 to 15.01.2026, while representing a State/UT/Sports Control Board, shall be eligible.
- The candidate must be an active playing member of the team. However, this condition shall not apply to medals won in international tournaments.
